Getting Ready for Your Company Incorporate in Honduras
Before commencing the company incorporation process, you must deposit an initial capital into a Honduran bank account. For SdeRL and SA, the recommended banks are HSBC Bank and Atlantida, respectively, while BAC and Davidienda Bank are recommended for a branch and representative office.
Once completed, the next step is registering the Articles of Incorporation. You will need a notary for this and register with the Honduran Chamber of Commerce. This usually takes about a week if all your documents are in order.
Applying for a TIN
After the company incorporation process, you must apply for a Tax Identification Code (TIN) to identify your company for tax purposes. This can be obtained from the Servicio de Administracion de Rentas (SAR), Ministry of Finance and can take 23-25 business days. Any invoices, official financial documents and tax declarations will be attached to your TIN.
Once you have your TIN, it is time to register with the National Chamber of Commerce. Based on your initial share capital, there will be a fee that must be paid.
Getting Your Certificates and Permits
